How to Install an SSL Certificate on WordPress Hosting

This guide explains how to generate and install an SSL certificate on your WordPress hosting package.

1. Login to your Customer Control Panel

    

2. Navigate to your domain name’s WordPress order and click on Go to Admin Panel.

 

3. Click on "More" in front of domain name.

 




4. Click on “Manage SSL”

 

5. Click on “Click to Begin” in the first step

 

6. Fill all the details and click on “Click to Generate CSR”

 

7. CSR will be generated in the box displayed below the screen

 

8. Use this CSR to enroll for the certificate and log in to your Customer Control Panel. 

 

9. Navigate to your domain’s SSL order and click on Backup and Security at the top. 

 

10. Click on “Get Your Certificate”

 

11. Add the CSR which you had generated previously and click Next

 

12. On the next page you will be asked to select an email address where you would want to receive verification email from COMODO.  Select the email address and click on "Send application to certificate authority". Once done, you will receive a verification email from certificate authority. You will have to complete the steps mentioned in the email to get your SSL certificate issued.

13. Once certificate is issued, click on “Click to Begin” in your wordpress panel and shown in the below image

 

14. Paste the certificate in the box provided and click on “Submit to install”

 

15. Once certificate is installed, click on “Manage SSL for yourdomainanme.com” on top
16. Click on “Click to Begin” in Step 3

 

17. This will activate the certificate on your Wordpress Page
