Steps to Set Up Your WordPress Website

Step 1: Log in to your BigRock account using the following URL:

Step 2: Navigate to Orders and search for the specific WordPress hosting domain.

Step 3: Click on Go to Admin Panel under WordPress Hosting order.

Step 4: Click on Install Site to add a domain and install WordPress.

Step 5: Enter the domain name, Site Title, and the admin email address to set up WordPress and click on Add Site.

Step 6: Point your domain to the DNS records shown in the DNS icon.

Step 7: Click the Admin (W) icon to log in to the WordPress Dashboard and start designing the website.

 

Managing FTP Accounts on WordPress Hosting

To upload or download files on WordPress hosting, an FTP account must first be created. Once created, it can be accessed using an FTP client to manage files on the server.

Steps to create an FTP account

Step 1: Log in to the WordPress Hosting Panel.

Step 2: Click on the More (+) icon to view other options.

Step 3: Click on the Manage FTP option to create an FTP account.

Step 4: Click on Create A New FTP account. 

Step 5: Enter the FTP username and password, and then click on Add FTP Account.

Step 6: Once the FTP account is created, the details to connect with the server will be visible on the panel.

 

Managing Email Accounts on WordPress Hosting

WordPress hosting allows you to create and manage email accounts via the hosting control panel, enabling you to send and receive emails using webmail or email clients.

Steps to create an Email account

Step 1: Log in to the WordPress Hosting Panel.

Step 2: Click on the Email option.

Step 3: Select Create a New Email Account to add a new email account.

Step 4: Enter the details and click on Add Email Account.

Step 5: Once the email account is created, it will appear in the dashboard. You can access the email using the Open option or edit the account by clicking on Modify.

 

Managing Paid SSL on WordPress Hosting

To manage a paid SSL on WordPress Hosting, please follow the steps below to install or assign the SSL certificate to the domain from the hosting control panel and ensure it is correctly mapped to the WordPress site.

Steps to install Paid SSL

Step 1: Log in to the WordPress Hosting Panel.

Step 2: Click on Manage SSL.

Step 3: Click on the link next to Generate / View Certificate Signing Request (CSR) to generate a CSR.

 

Step 4: Fill in the details for the CSR and click on Click to Generate CSR.

You can use the generated CSR to issue a digital certificate from your certificate provider.
Step 5: Once you have received the digital certificate, click on the link next to Install a valid Digital Certificate to complete the installation.

 
Step 7: Click on the link next to Activate Certificate on Blog to activate the certificate.
