How to Add or Edit DNS Records under the Plesk DNS Zone when the Domain is Pointed to Windows Shared Hosting Nameservers

When a domain is pointed to the nameservers linked to our Windows Shared Hosting plans, DNS records need to be added under the DNS Zone Manager available in the Plesk Panel.

To add or edit DNS records in your Plesk DNS panel, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your BigRock account using the following link: https://myorders.bigrock.in/dashboard
  2. Go to the Orders section and click on the domain name associated with the hosting plan where the domain is hosted.
  3. If multiple orders exist for the same domain name, click on the My Hosting section of the relevant order to access the hosting details.

  4. Click on the Go to Plesk option to access your hosting Plesk Panel.

  5. Once logged in to Plesk, go to Domains > example.com > Hosting & DNS > DNS.

  6. Click Add DNS Record to create a new record, or click on an existing DNS record to modify it.

  7. Specify the record type, hostname (domain name), TTL, and value. Once done, click the OK button to add or modify the record.

  8. To delete a record, select the checkbox next to the concerned record and click the Remove button at the top.

  9. To save the changes made to the DNS, click the Update button on the DNS settings page to apply all changes.

Please note that DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate globally. However, in most cases, the changes are visible within 6–8 hours.
